Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Procurement & Tender Compliance Officer to manage our procurement processes and tender submissions. The ideal candidate will have experience with EGP, strong critical thinking skills, and a solid understanding of procurement laws. You will ensure that all tenders and procurement activities are completed accurately, efficiently, and in compliance with regulatory requirements. In addition, the role involves attending site visits and supporting business development, such as submitting company profiles to various organizations for prequalification.
Key Responsibilities:
● Prepare, review, and submit tenders through EGP and other relevant platforms.
● Ensure compliance with procurement laws, organizational policies, and ethical standards.
● Source and evaluate suppliers to ensure quality, value for money, and timely delivery.
● Negotiate contracts, prices, and terms with suppliers/vendors.
● Maintain accurate procurement records, contracts, and tender documentation.
● Evaluate bids and proposals, providing recommendations to management.
● Collaborate with internal teams to gather documentation and approvals.
● Monitor supplier performance and report procurement KPIs to management.
● Attend site visits as required for procurement and tender-related purposes.
● Support business development initiatives, including submitting company profiles for prequalification and exploring new opportunities.
Requirements:
● Minimum 3 years’ experience in procurement, tender management, or related roles.
● Hands on experience with EGP and tendering platforms.
● Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
● Knowledge of procurement laws, regulations, and best practices.
● Attention to detail and high accuracy in documentation.
● Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Educational Qualification:
● Bachelor’s degree in Procurement, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Law, or a related field.
