Requirements: Minimum of KCSE or equivalent qualification. Certificate or training in paint technology, color matching, or related field is an added advantage. Basic computer literacy for operating color matching software. Strong color perception and attention to detail. Ability to follow formulas and technical instructions accurately. Good hand eye coordination. Time management and ability to work under minimal supervision. Team player with good communication skills. Basic numerical and record-keeping skills. This role may involve standing for long periods and handling chemicals, with appropriate protective equipment provided.

Experience: At least 2-3 years relevant working experience in a factory or plant based evironment. Previous experience in paint manufacturing, tinting, or a similar production environment is a must.

Salary: Kshs. 50,000 - 60,000 plus company benefits

Duties/responsibilities: Production manual color tinter is responsible for accurately mixing, tinting, and matching paint colors according to customer specifications and company standards, ensuring consistency, quality, and timely delivery. The position reports to production manager and performs the following duties/responsibilities:- accurately mix and tint paints using manual and computerized color-matching systems. Match paint colors to samples, or customer requirements. Operate and maintain tinting machines, shakers, and related equipment. Ensure correct formulation and batch accuracy to minimize waste and rework. Conduct quality checks to ensure color consistency and meet specifications. Record tinting formulas, batch details, and production data accurately. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the tinting area. Identify and report equipment faults, color inconsistencies, or material shortages. Follow health, safety, and environmental (hse) procedures always. Assist in inventory management of bases, and tinting materials. Support production and dispatch teams to meet operational timelines.
