DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Production Planning & Scheduling
· Create and maintain production schedules and timelines for all manufacturing orders.
· Monitor project progress, identify delays, and apply corrective measures to ensure on-time production.
· Coordinate with procurement and inventory departments to ensure materials and supplies are available when needed.
Resource & Team Coordination
· Allocate production resources, including personnel, equipment, and materials, in alignment with production demands.
· Coordinate assignments among production staff; ensure clear roles and responsibilities.
· Supervise and support production staff to ensure adherence to safety, quality, and productivity standards.
Quality Control & Assurance
· Monitor production output to ensure compliance with product specifications and company quality standards.
· Collaborate with quality assurance to inspect materials, manage rejects, and implement corrective actions.
· Maintain production documentation, including work orders, inspection reports, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Process Improvement & Cost Control
· Analyze production data to identify inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
· Recommend and implement process optimization initiatives to improve throughput, reduce waste, and enhance cost efficiency.
· Monitor production costs and suggest cost-saving opportunities.
Cross-Functional Collaboration & Communication
· Liaise with maintenance, procurement, logistics, and quality teams to ensure smooth production operations.
· Communicate regularly with management regarding production performance, challenges, and corrective actions.
Safety, Compliance & Administration
· Ensure compliance with safety regulations, industry guidelines, and company policies in the production area.
· Maintain production records, inventory logs, and reports accurately.
· Support administrative tasks related to production coordination (e.g., report generation, documentation, work order management).
Other Responsibilities
· Perform any other duty as may be assigned by management from time to time.
KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
· Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Production Management, Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Technology or related field.
· Understanding of manufacturing processes, quality management, safety standards, and inventory control.
· Minimum of 3-4 years of experience in production coordination, operations, or related manufacturing roles.
· Strong organizational, scheduling, and multitasking skills.
· Proficient in Microsoft Excel and other tools for production planning and data handling.
· Excellent communication skills (written & verbal) for coordination across teams.
· Analytical and problem-solving capability, especially with production data and workflow challenges.
