Key Responsibilities
Site Inspections & Monitoring
- Conduct daily, weekly, and milestone inspections of construction sites.
- Ensure that construction work strictly follows approved architectural and structural plans.
- Assess structural integrity, finishes, and craftsmanship for durability, aesthetics, and
- alignment with the company’s quality standards.
- Monitor contractor adherence to health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Identify potential quality issues early and recommend preventive measures.
Material & Workmanship Verification
- Inspect all incoming construction materials (cement, steel, tiles, paints, fixtures) for quality and compliance with project specifications.
- Verify that installation of plumbing, electrical systems, flooring, tiling, painting, and fixtures meets design standards.
- Approve materials and workmanship before they are incorporated into the project.
- Reject substandard materials or work and document corrective measures.
Testing & Compliance
- Supervise or conduct tests on materials (concrete strength, paint adherence, water pressure, etc.) to ensure compliance with regulatory and the company standards.
- Ensure all construction activities comply with local building codes, regulatory
- requirements, and the company’s internal quality specifications.
- Maintain knowledge of new construction standards, techniques, and materials to continuously improve project quality.
Reporting & Documentation
- Maintain comprehensive quality control records, inspection checklists, and photographic evidence.
- Prepare detailed QC reports for the Project Manager, highlighting deviations, defects, or areas needing attention.
- Track corrective actions to completion, ensuring accountability and follow-through.
- Maintain a structured database of QC documentation for audits, handovers, and future references.
Client Handover & Satisfaction
- Conduct pre-handover inspections to identify and rectify defects or snags.
- Ensure that all snagging lists are completed before property handover.
- Support post-handover quality reviews and respond promptly to client concerns.
- Uphold the company’s luxury brand standards in all delivered projects.
Collaboration & Coordination
- Liaise closely with Project Managers, Engineers, Architects, and Contractors to ensure quality objectives are met.
- Coordinate corrective actions with contractors and track progress to timely resolution.
- Participate in project meetings to provide quality insights and recommendations.
- Contribute to process improvements to optimize construction quality and reduce rework.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, Architecture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 6-8 years of experience in real estate development
- Strong knowledge of building codes, regulations, and luxury construction standards.
- Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work on-site, manage multiple tasks, and enforce quality standards in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in quality control software or tools is a plus.
