Radiographer

South B Hospital is seeking to recruit a qualified and experienced Radiographer to join our Radiology team.

Key Responsibilities

• 
  
• Perform X-rays, ultrasound and ECG examinations in accordance with established standards and protocols.
  
• Prepare patients and explain procedures clearly and professionally.
  
• Ensure high-quality diagnostic images and accurate examination results.
  
• Perform routine and specialised ultrasound examinations as assigned.
  
• Operate, clean and maintain imaging and diagnostic equipment appropriately.
  
• Maintain accurate patient and examination records.
  
• Observe infection prevention, radiation safety and other hospital safety protocols.
  
• Work closely with Radiologists, clinicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals.
  
• Ensure patient comfort, privacy and safety throughout examinations.
  

Qualifications & Requirements

• 
  
• Diploma or Degree in Radiography/Medical Imaging, Sonography or an equivalent recognised qualification.
  
• Valid registration and practising licence with the relevant regulatory body.
  
• Minimum 3 years' relevant experience in a hospital or diagnostic imaging setting.
  
• Good knowledge of imaging procedures, patient positioning and radiation safety.
  
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce accurate diagnostic images.
  
• Good communication, interpersonal and patient-care skills.
  
• Ability to work effectively in a busy hospital environment and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
