 Position Overview

· Job Title: Independent Real Estate Contractor / Sales Agent

· Employment Type: Contract / Commission-based Independent Contractor

· Core Focus: Sourcing high-potential real estate properties for sale and property management

· Target Locations: Kitengela, Syokimau, Thika, Ruiru, and Nairobi County

 Key Responsibilities

· Property Sourcing: Proactively identify, evaluate, and list premium residential and commercial properties for both outright sale and long-term property management.

· Deal Execution: Conduct professional property viewings, manage prospective buyer/tenant pipelines, and lead high-level negotiations to successfully close deals.

· Market Intelligence: Maintain a granular, up-to-date understanding of neighborhood property values, zoning shifts, and local market trends within your designated territory.

· Legal Compliance: Ensure that all property sourcing, marketing, listing agreements, and transaction documentation strictly comply with the Estate Agents Act (Cap 533) and all relevant land laws of Kenya.

 Academic Qualifications & Minimum Requirements

· Academic Background: Hold a minimum of a Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Real Estate, Land Economics, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.

· Registration Status: Must be a Registered Independent Real Estate Contractor in Kenya with active licensing/registration status.

· Statutory Compliance: Fully compliant with all regulatory frameworks governing Kenyan estate agencies and independent contracting.

 Required Skills & Competencies

· Real Estate Expertise: A proven, verifiable track record in navigating complex Real Estate and Real Property transactions in the Kenyan landscape.

· Sales & Relationship Management: Exceptional proficiency in business development, elite customer service, relationship preservation, and aggressive negotiation tactics.

· Communication: Highly developed verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills tailored for high-net-worth clients, landlords, and developers.

· Mindset: Self-motivated, disciplined, and intensely goal-oriented with the capability to operate independently under minimal corporate supervision.

· Geographical Edge: Deep, functional familiarity with the Nairobi County real estate market and surrounding growth corridors (Kitengela, Syokimau, Thika, Ruiru) is a major asset.
