Job Summary
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Accounting Assistant to join our finance team. The Accounting Assistant will provide crucial support in various accounting tasks, ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations. This position offers an opportunity for growth and development in a dynamic work environment.

Job Description/Requirements
Responsibilities:Â
 -Monitor daily communications and respond to queries from clients & suppliers, in a timely manner.Â
-Ensure accuracy in payments, amounts, and records through diligent review and verification processes.Â
-Work with spreadsheets, sales and purchase ledgers, and journals to maintain accurate financial records.Â
-Record and file cash transactions in accordance with company policies and procedures.Â
-Process invoices, including verification of details and filing of documents.Â
-Assist with processing expense requests for approval by the accountant or relevant authority.Â
-Perform bank reconciliations to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial transactions.Â
-Liaise with third-party providers, clients, and suppliers to resolve issues and maintain positive relationships.Â
Qualifications:Â
-Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferredÂ
-Intermediate level CPA qualification required.Â
-Knowledge and skills in Tims and Etims software.Â
-Previous experience in an accounting or finance role is an added advantage.Â
-Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other accounting software i.e. QuickBooksÂ
-Strong attention to detail and organisational skillsÂ
-Excellent communication and interpersonal abilitiesÂ
-Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively.Â
-Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes and technologies.Â

-Interview candidates are required to present their academic/professional certificates, and a recommendation letter from previous employer(s) during the interview.Â
-On successful recruitment, the candidate will be required to provide a valid copy of certificate of Good Conduct.
