Position Description:
Our client a Risk Management Consulting firm specializing in implementing well proven management profitability and organizational improvements is in need of a Research Officer.
Overall Purpose: The Research Officer will lead in planning, developing and executing research projects including conducting, managing and coordinating high quality and research and supporting project partners in developing and implementing research activities
Job Title: Research Officer
•Exploration of opportunities for provision of market research, survey and training consultancy services.
•Research into and development of new products in the field of investigations, risk security and training services.
•Develop and research into new markets locally and internationally.
•Research and development of new fronts for current services.
•Development of training products and modules for external clientele
•Liaison with research and survey organizations for business partnerships
•Management and co-ordination of training services for external clientele.
•Managing and undertaking research and survey services and projects
Candidate Profile
•Bachelor's degree in Statistics or Actuarial Sciences
•Minimum one (1) year related experience
•Solid knowledge of risk management will be an added advantage
•Experience of systematic reviewing
•Strong attention to detail
•Excellent writing and quality control skills
•Solid experience working with database using Excel and SAS
•Experience using software for synthesis research and solid understanding of systematic reviews or evidence-based research methods
•Experience with Reference Management Software will be an added advantage
•Strong computer skills MS Office (Word, Access, Power Point, Excel)
