About the Role
Position Overview:
The Revenue & Reservation Assistant is responsible for maximizing occupancy and revenue through data-driven pricing strategies and effective platform management across Airbnb, Booking.com, and other OTAs. The role involves setting and adjusting prices, monitoring listing performance, analyzing market trends, and ensuring all listings are accurate, optimized, and competitive.
The Revenue & Reservation Assistant will improve listing ranking by tracking impressions and conversions, managing availability, and supporting promotional campaigns. The role also contributes to income tracking, identifies opportunities to monetize listings further, and collaborates closely with internal teams to achieve the company’s overall revenue and occupancy goals.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Pricing & Revenue Management
● Set daily/weekly/monthly prices based on demand, seasonality, market
trends, and competitor benchmarking.
● Implement dynamic pricing strategies across all units.
● Adjust minimum stays, restrictions, and promotions (e.g., Genius, last-minute,
early-bird discounts, custom promotions).
● Manage occupancy goals and revenue targets on all our booking platforms.
2. Optimization (Airbnb, Booking.com, VRBO, etc.)
● Improve listing ranking by optimizing:
I. Titles, descriptions, photos
II. Amenities
III. Policies
IV. Review responses
● Ensure availability calendars are perfectly synced.
3. Performance Monitoring & Competitor Market Analysis
● Track and report:
I. Impressions
II. Click-through rate (CTR)
III. Conversion rate
IV. Booking trends
V. Revenue per listing (RevPAR)
VI. Occupancy percentages
VII. Identify listings performing poorly and provide solutions.
● Monitor competitor rates in real time.
● Analyze local occupancy trends and events (holidays, conferences, seasons).
● Conduct monthly benchmarking reports.
4. Cross-Team Collaboration
● Work with the reservations team to adjust prices based on demand patterns.
● Make recommendations to management on portfolio improvement.
Qualifications & Experience
● Minimum 2–3 years experience in revenue management, OTA management, or hotel reservations.
● Back ground in Data analysis/operation is preferred
● Strong understanding of Airbnb & Booking.com analytics (impressions, ranking, pricing algorithms).
● Knowledge of dynamic pricing tools will be an add plus (PriceLabs, Beyond Pricing, etc.)
● Strong Excel/Google Sheets skills.
● Ability to analyze data and make data driven recommendations.
● Excellent communication and problem solving skills.
Added Advantage
● Experience in hospitality (hotels, serviced apartments, Airbnb portfolio).
● Experience using channel managers like Hostaway, Cloudbeds, or Siteminder.
● Digital marketing knowledge (Google trends, SEO for listings)
