Job summary
<p>Kaldo Interiors Ltd is hiring a results-driven Sales & Client Engagement Officer responsible for converting inquiries into paying clients and managing the client journey from first contact to project handover. This is not a passive customer service role. You will be expected to actively follow up, close deals, and drive revenue.</p>

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Sales & Lead Conversion (PRIMARY FOCUS)
- Respond to all WhatsApp, calls, and social media inquiries promptly (within minutes)
- Qualify leads and guide them toward site visits, quotations, and payments
- Follow up consistently until deals are closed
- Achieve and exceed monthly sales targets
2. Client Management (Pre & Post Sale)
- Act as the main contact person from first inquiry to project completion
- Provide regular updates to clients (progress, timelines, changes)
- Handle client concerns, objections, and feedback professionally
- Ensure smooth handover and customer satisfaction
3. Content & Brand Engagement
- Create and post simple, authentic content:
- Project progress (videos/photos)
- Before & after transformations
- Client testimonials
- Engage with followers and inquiries across platforms (WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, X
4. Lead Tracking & Reporting
Maintain a clear record of all leads and their status
Submit daily and weekly reports on:
· Number of inquiries
· Conversions
· Revenue closed
5. REQUIREMENTS
- Minimum 1 year experience in sales (interior design or construction-related field is a strong advantage)
- A Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field is an added advantage.
- Fast Learner.
- Proven ability to close deals and follow up consistently
- Strong communication skills (fluent English & Swahili – written and spoken)
- Ability to follow up on leads and track sales performance.
- Ability to multitask, manage time effectively, and coordinate between sales and marketing tasks.
- Confident using WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook, X, TikTok, and phone calls for sales
- Comfortable appearing in videos and speaking on camera
- Highly organized and able to manage multiple clients at different stages
