We are seeking a driven and strategic Sales and Marketing Executive to join our team and propel our market growth.
Key Responsibilities;
Sales & Distribution Management:
· Achieve and exceed monthly/quarterly/annual sales targets for the assigned territory
· Manage and nurture relationships with existing retail accounts (modern trade and general trade).
· Ensure optimal stock levels at client points and prevent stock-outs or overstocking.
· Monitor competitor activities, market trends, and provide regular feedback to management.
· Listing Abilities.
Marketing & Promotion Execution:
· Develop and implement local-level trade marketing and brand activation plans
· Ensure effective execution of in-store merchandising, POS (Point-of-Sale)
· Conceptualize and execute local promotional activities, consumer offers, and trade schemes to boost sales.
· Analyze the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and provide post-promotion reports.
Trade & Channel Development:
· Conduct regular field visits to assess market conditions, product availability, pricing, and visibility.
· Develop strategies to enhance penetration in existing markets and unlock potential in new markets.
Reporting & Analysis:
· Prepare and submit daily call reports, weekly sales forecasts, and market intelligence reports.
· Track key performance indicators (KPIs) such as sales volume, market share, outlet coverage, and scheme effectiveness.
· Utilize sales data to identify gaps and recommend corrective actions.
Qualifications & Experience
· Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
· Atleast 2 years of proven experience in sales and trade marketing, specifically within the FMCG distribution sector.
· In-depth understanding of distributor management, trade channel dynamics, and route-to-market strategies.
· Strong experience in planning and executing trade marketing activities.
