Sales & Business Development Representative (Channel Expansion)
Job summary
We are seeking a results-driven Sales Representative to expand our product presence in the Kenyan market. The primary focus will be on identifying new distribution channels, onboarding retail partners (Shops, Nightclubs, Bars, and Wholesalers), and driving volume sales for our high-demand consumer products.

Key Responsibilities:
- Market Expansion: Proactively identify and onboard new retail outlets, including Wines & Spirits shops, convenience stores, and specialized retail hubs (e.g., Eastleigh).
- On-trade Channel Development: Establish partnerships with high-traffic nightclubs and bars using customized pricing and commission models.
- Account Management: Maintain strong relationships with existing distributors to ensure consistent stock rotation and brand visibility.
- Market Intelligence: Monitor competitor pricing, product trends, and feedback from the local market to refine sales strategies.
- Reporting: Track daily sales activities, lead generation, and collection updates.
Requirements:
- Experience: 2–5 years of sales experience in FMCG, consumer electronics, or related sectors in Kenya.
- Network: Proven track record of existing relationships with local retailers, wholesalers, or the hospitality industry.
- Skills: Strong negotiation and communication skills; ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Location: Based in Nairobi, with a deep understanding of local logistics and commercial zones.
- Mindset: Entrepreneurial spirit, goal-oriented, and comfortable with a performance-based commission structure.
