The Sales Executive is responsible for aggressively identifying and securing new client contracts across the company's full range of services, including cleaning, waste operations, and exhauster services. This role is highly target-driven, requiring a proactive, results-oriented individual with strong field presence, excellent client management skills, and reliable mobility to cover the Nairobi market.

2. Key Responsibilities and Duties
A. Client Acquisition and Territory Management
● Lead Generation: Actively research and prospect new business leads, focusing on commercial, institutional, and high-value residential sectors requiring our services.
● Sales Pipeline Management: Manage the entire sales cycle, from initial cold calling/site visits to presenting solutions, preparing customized proposals, and closing deals.
● Field Presence: Must be able to travel independently and reliably across assigned territories in Nairobi to conduct daily client meetings and site assessments.
● Target Achievement: Consistently meet or exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets (revenue and contract volume) set by the Sales Manager.
B. Service Expertise and Negotiation
● Product Knowledge: Develop deep expertise in all company service lines (cleaning, waste collection, exhauster services) to effectively present integrated solutions that meet client needs.
● Proposal Development: Work with the Sales Manager and Operations team to prepare accurate, competitive, and compelling service proposals and bids for new contracts.
● Contract Negotiation: Negotiate pricing, terms, and service level agreements (SLAs) to ensure profitability while securing client commitment.
C. Reporting and Collaboration
● Reporting Structure: Reports directly to the Sales Manager, receiving coaching and strategic guidance.
● CRM Management: Accurately record all sales activities, client interactions, and pipeline progress within the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) system daily.
● Operational Alignment: Collaborate closely with the Operations team (e.g., the Zonal Field Operations Manager) during the contract handover phase to ensure promises made to the client are delivered effectively.
3. Qualifications and Experience
Required
● Experience: 2+ years of successful experience in business-to-business (B2B) sales, field sales, or service sales.
● Target Driven: Proven track record of consistently meeting or exceeding demanding sales targets.
● Mobility: Must demonstrate reliable access to transport and the ability to travel extensively within Nairobi to meet clients.
● Skills: Strong negotiation, presentation, and client relationship management skills.
Desirable
● Experience selling facility management, waste management, or logistics services.
● Familiarity with sales technology (CRM software).
