Geita Investment Company Limited is a construction materials supply company focused on helping developers, contractors and homeowners reduce construction costs without compromising quality. We are looking for aggressive, disciplined, and target-driven Sales Executives to work under the Sales Manager and help grow our customer base.

Key Responsibilities
The Sales Executive will be responsible for:

Generating leads through physical channels
- Visit construction sites, hardware shops, real estate developments, contractors, architects, QSs, fundis, foremen, and developers.
- Identify active and upcoming construction projects.
- Build relationships with site managers, project owners, procurement officers, and contractors.
- Selling construction materials
- Promote Geita’s products including cement, steel, ballast, sand, stones, tiles, paints, ceramics, and sanitary ware.
- Explain the company’s value proposition of helping clients reduce material costs while maintaining quality.
- Share catalogues, quotations, and product information with potential clients.

Lead follow-up and closing
- Follow up with prospects until quotation, order confirmation, payment, and delivery.
- Convert site visits and referrals into confirmed material orders.
- Maintain a daily and weekly sales pipeline.

Achieving sales targets
- Meet monthly sales targets set by the Sales Manager.
- Report daily activity, leads generated, quotations issued, and closed sales.
- Work with the Sales Manager to improve conversion rates.

Market intelligence
- Collect information on competitor pricing, supplier behavior, customer needs, and market trends.
- Identify fast-moving construction materials in different areas.
- Report opportunities for bulk supply, partnerships, and recurring clients.
Qualifications & Experience
The ideal candidate should have:
- At least 1 year experience in sales, preferably in construction materials, hardware, real estate, construction, or building supplies.
- Strong understanding of physical lead generation and field sales.
- Ability to approach strangers, visit sites, and build relationships confidently.
- Basic knowledge of construction materials such as cement, steel, ballast, sand, stones, tiles, and paints.
- Good communication, negotiation, and closing skills.
- Ability to work with targets and pressure.
- Good phone etiquette and WhatsApp follow-up skills.
- Honest, disciplined, and self-driven.
- Degree or Diploma in sales, marketing, business, construction, real estate, or related field is an added advantage.
Key Performance Indicators
The Sales Executive will be measured on:
- Number of construction sites visited daily.
- Number of qualified leads generated weekly.
- Number of quotations requested.
- Number of orders closed.
- Monthly sales revenue achieved.
- Customer follow-up consistency.
- Quality of CRM/reporting updates.
- Repeat business and referrals generated.
