- Conduct door-to-door sales and proactive field visits to identify and secure new business opportunities.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline through prospecting, networking, referrals, and lead generation activities.
- Engage with clients at all organisational levels, including operational staff, supervisors, managers, and key decision-makers.
- Promote and sell specialised pest management and hygiene services, including:
- Pest Control Services
- Termite Treatment Programmes
- Rodent Control Solutions
- Bird Management and Control Services
- Fumigation Services
- Integrated Pest Management (IPM) Programmes
- Achieve and exceed individual sales targets and revenue objectives.
- Conduct site visits and preliminary inspections to assess customer needs, identify risks, and recommend appropriate service solutions.
- Prepare professional quotations, proposals, and service agreements in collaboration with the Operations team.
- Clearly explain technical services and their benefits to clients, ensuring full understanding of the proposed solutions.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through regular communication and follow-up.
- Support contract renewals, upselling opportunities, and repeat business initiatives.
- Ensure services delivered align with agreed quotations, specifications, and client expectations.
- Work closely with Operations and Health & Safety teams to ensure services sold are practical, compliant, and deliverable.
- Participate in client meetings, site inspections, audits, and service reviews as required.
- Support the smooth transition of new contracts from sales to operations.
- Maintain accurate records of client visits, sales activities, quotations, contracts, and customer interactions.
- Prepare and submit regular sales reports, forecasts, and pipeline updates to management.
- Monitor industry trends, emerging pest-related risks, market developments, and competitor activities.
- Identify opportunities for new services and market expansion.
- Represent the company professionally at all times during client engagements, site visits, meetings, inspections, and audits.
- Uphold company values, policies, and ethical business practices.
- Diploma or Degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, Environmental Health, Agriculture, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of experience in technical or specialised sales.
- Experience within pest control, hygiene services, facilities management, environmental services, or related industries is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated success in field sales, business development, and customer relationship management.
- Strong interpersonal, communication, and presentation skills.
- Excellent negotiation and closing abilities.
- Ability to understand and explain technical service offerings to diverse client groups.
- Strong organisational and time-management skills.
