- Drive consistent sales growth for hygiene and sanitary products across assigned territory
- Achieve and exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets
- Identify, pursue, and close new business opportunities in both GT and MT channels
- Expand product distribution footprint within existing and new accounts
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with wholesalers, distributors, and retail outlets
- Ensure optimal stock availability across retail channels
- Conduct regular market visits to monitor product performance and shelf presence
- Support retailers with product knowledge, promotions, and merchandising support
- Manage key accounts within supermarkets, pharmacies, and chain stores
- Negotiate shelf space, listings, promotions, and trade agreements
- Ensure compliance with agreed trade terms and pricing structures
- Coordinate in-store activations and promotional campaigns
- Monitor competitor activity including pricing, promotions, and product launches
- Gather and report customer feedback and market trends to inform strategy
- Prepare accurate daily, weekly, and monthly sales reports
- Provide sales forecasts and territory performance updates
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with key customers and stakeholders
- Handle customer queries, complaints, and escalations promptly and professionally
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and retention
- Provide guidance, coaching, and support to junior sales representatives where assigned
- Monitor performance of assigned team members and ensure target alignment
- Conduct on-the-job training and field accompaniment for skill development
- Support onboarding of new sales staff within the territory
- Ensure proper product display, branding, and visibility in all outlets
- Monitor stock rotation to prevent expiries and ensure freshness standards
- Implement promotional displays and point-of-sale materials effectively
- Support timely collection of payments from customers where applicable
- Monitor credit limits and ensure adherence to company credit policies
- Follow up on overdue accounts in coordination with finance team
- Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or related field
- Minimum 5 years proven experience in sales of hygiene/sanitary products or FMCG fast-moving consumer goods
- Strong experience working with both General Trade (GT) and Modern Trade (MT) channels
- Previous experience as a Supervisor or Team Leader in a sales environment
- Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proven ability to meet and exceed sales targets consistently
- Good understanding of territory management and route-to-market strategies
- Proficiency in sales reporting and basic MS Office tools
