Job Summary:
The Sales Lead will be a key driver of growth for the Company which supplies
cleaning equipment, accessories, and complementary products to a diverse range
of industries. This individual will work closely with the Managing Director to
develop and implement effective sales strategies while actively monitoring and
analyzing sales performance.
The ideal candidate is self-driven, proactive, and motivated, exhibiting strong Sales leadership qualities, problem-solving capabilities, and exceptional interpersonal skills to build robust relationships at various levels of client organizations.
Key Responsibilities:
Business Development:
· Identify and create leads through various channels, including referrals, cold calling, networking, and responding to inquiries generated via the company website.
· Understand client needs to effectively sell both core products and complementary offerings.
· Recommend ideal products for cleaning and maintaining various surfaces, creating demand for the company’s products, and promoting the benefits of professional cleaning equipment.
· Source non-core products from the local market to meet client demand, ensuring the company is recognized as a reliable one-stop supplier for all cleaning, housekeeping and hospitality products.
· Analyze market trends and competition to assess pricing strategies and provide reports for ongoing review of the company’s offerings.
· Explore new business potential within specific industries (e.g.manufacturing, hospitality, Education and health sectors) and plan periodical client visits outside the primary market area.
Sales Strategy Implementation:
· Oversee the execution of the sales strategy and monitor performance metrics.
· Conduct regular reviews of sales activities to ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
· Set and surpass ambitious individual and team sales targets on a monthly, quarterly, and annual basis.
· Develop actionable strategies to drive sales growth and optimize team performance.
Sales Team Management:
· Direct, supervise, and motivate a sales team, including Sales Executive, Sales Administrator, and field support team, technicians.
· Foster a positive and productive work environment that empowers team members to excel.
Responding to RFQs and Proposal Development:
· Prepare compelling proposals and presentations for Requests for Quotations (RFQs), ensuring they meet client requirements.
· Handle the completion of tender documents and vendor onboarding processes.
Client Relationship Management:
· Build and maintain strong relationships with clients at various levels (e.g., procurement, housekeeping), through regular outreach and effective communication.
· Manage key customer accounts to ensure high levels of satisfaction, fostering repeat business and loyalty.
Sales Performance Analysis:
· Track and analyze sales performance metrics, providing periodic reports to the Managing Director.
· Utilize CRM tools to prepare quotations, manage leads, and maintain accurate sales records.
Market Insights:
· Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to identify growth opportunities and inform sales strategies.
· Offer insights on pricing strategies based on market understanding and sales performance.
Collaboration and Communication:
· Collaborate with departments such as Finance and Marketing to ensure that sales strategies and payment collections align with overall business processes.
· Gather and share client feedback to aid in decision making.
Training and Development:
· Identify training needs within the sales team and facilitate professional development opportunities to enhance skills and performance.
· Coach team members on effective sales techniques and enhance product knowledge.
Additional Responsibilities:
· Represent the company at industry seminars, events, and conferences to network, and identify new market opportunities.
· Undertake other duties as reasonably assigned within the scope of the position.
