Our client, a well-established company in the Fast-Moving Consumer Goods (FMCG) sector, is seeking to recruit an experienced Sales Manager to lead its sales team and drive growth across its markets and customer channels.
The key result areas include the responsibly for leading the sales team, developing sales plans, strengthening customer relationships and ensuring effective market coverage.
The role requires a hands-on sales leader who can analyse market trends, identify opportunities, develop people and translate sales strategies into measurable results.
The role is to:-
• lead the sales team
• set and deliver sales targets
• develop sales plans
• strengthen customer relationships and ensure effective market coverage
• drive effective product positioning and address market-related issues affecting product performance
• prepare and monitor annual, quarterly and monthly sales forecasts and projections
Qualifications & Experience
• Bachelor’s degree in Sales & Marketing or a relevant business field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in FMCG sales, including at least 3 years in a sales leadership role.
• Demonstrated track record of growing a company’s product portfolio.
• Strong experience in customer and relationship management.
• Strong understanding of sales planning, market penetration and sales performance management.
• Good working of computer uses and other related business tools.
• Strong analytical, communication and organisational skills.
• High level of integrity and professional ethics.
