Summary
This is a 3-month internship opportunity, with the possibility of joining the team on a longer-term basis depending on performance and suitability for the role.
Key Responsibilities
- Respond to customer enquiries through Instagram, Facebook, WhatsApp, and phone calls.
- Engage with clients professionally and provide timely responses to their questions and requests.
- Attend to clients face-to-face at the workshop and ensure a positive customer experience.
- Take photos and videos of ongoing and completed jobs for social media content.
- Support the planning and creation of engaging content for social media platforms.
- Follow up on leads and enquiries to support sales conversion.
- Keep track of customer enquiries, leads, and follow-ups in an organised manner.
- Support day-to-day sales and marketing activities at the workshop.
What We’re Looking For
- Confident and comfortable communicating with customers both online and in person.
- Comfortable using Instagram, Facebook, and WhatsApp for customer engagement.
- Comfortable taking photos and videos for social media.
- Strong organisational and follow-up skills.
- Friendly, confident, and professional when interacting with clients.
- Willingness to work from the workshop and engage directly with customers.
- Prior sales or marketing experience is an advantage, but not required.
- Must be based in or around Nairobi and able to work from the Wajir Road workshop.
