Job Summary
FMCG experienced Merchandiser to produce sales by providing point-of-purchase and shelf management services in the supermarkets and stores
Job Description/Requirements
- Plan and develop merchandising strategies that balance customers’ expectations and the company’s objectives
- Analyse sales figures, customer reactions and market trends to anticipate product needs and plan product ranges/stock
- Ensuring products 5P-(Product availability, Visibility, Pricing, promotion & People)
- Implementing the Key Accounts strategy in-store.
- Implementing in-store promo plan and managing
- promo investments.
- Close follow-up with the store for stocks and sales.
- Collaborate with buyers, suppliers, distributors and analysts, quantities and time-scales
- maintain store shelves and inventory
- Monitor stock movement and consider markdowns, promotions, price changes, clearouts, etc
- Build constructive customer relationships and team with channel partners to build pipeline and close deals
- Remain up to date with the industry’s best practices
- Proven working experience in merchandising in FMCG company.
- Commitment and hard work.
- Highly creative with experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
