Job summary
Kariko Brook Coffee Company is seeking a results-driven, customer-focused Sales Representative to drive business growth and expand market share across Nairobi. The successful candidate will proactively identify new sales opportunities, manage client accounts, achieve sales targets, and represent the brand's commitment to quality and service.

Key Responsibilities
1. Sales Execution & Business Development
Promote, pitch, and sell Kariko Brook Coffee products to targeted business clients (cafes, restaurants, offices, retail outlets, and distributors).
Proactively identify new business opportunities, execute outbound prospecting, and convert leads into active accounts.
Consistently meet and exceed the monthly revenue target of KES 500,000.
2. Relationship Management & Account Servicing
Build, nurture, and maintain strong, long-term relationships with new and existing buyers.
Serve as the main point of contact for client queries, product inquiries, and reorders.
Conduct regular site visits, product demonstrations, and coffee tastings to build brand affinity.
3. Order Processing & Financial Accountability
Ensure accurate and timely processing of client orders in coordination with supply/logistics.
Diligently follow up on invoices and secure timely payment collections from customers.
Maintain clear accounts receivable records to ensure zero payment defaults.
4. Reporting & Market Intelligence
Maintain up-to-date customer records, call logs, and pipeline tracking.
Prepare and present concise weekly and monthly sales reports to management.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and customer feedback to inform sales strategies.
5. Brand Representation
Uphold professional standards and embody the company ethos: "Great Coffee. Strong Relationships. Better Together."
Represent Kariko Brook Coffee Company at industry exhibitions, pop-up events, and networking functions as required.
Minimum Qualifications & Skills
Education: Minimum of a Diploma in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
Experience: Proven track record in B2B sales, field sales, or FMCG distribution (experience in the coffee or beverage industry is an added advantage).
Key Competencies:
Strong negotiation, pitch presentation, and closing skills.
Excellent interpersonal and verbal/written communication skills.
Demonstrated resilience, target-driven mindset, and high self-motivation.
Sound understanding of account management, order fulfilment, and debt collection processes.
Familiarity with the Nairobi commercial landscape.
