Job summary
The Sales Rep is to build and maintain repeat demand + disciplined collections so that weekly harvest clears reliably.This is not a “get some customers” job. It is a volume + collections + channel-mix job with hard weekly targets, and it scales quarter-by-quarter toward company growth goals.

Core responsibilities:
- Build a portfolio of buyers that reliably absorbs weekly harvest (mix of: market vendors/micro-aggregators, greengrocers, caterers, restaurants/hotels).
- Set up tastings and convert to standing weekly orders (1–3 deliveries/week cadence).
- Own a simple CRM: leads → tastings → orders → deliveries → collections.
- Coordinate packaging/labeling expectations with buyers (traceability + storage instructions required).
- Enforce collections discipline (no “forever credit”): confirm payment terms before scaling an account.
- Share weekly demand forecast every Sunday evening (so Ops can plan harvest + deliveries cleanly).
What “good” looks like in 90 days:
- The farm sells out weekly harvest with minimal panic selling
- Repeat weekly orders are stable
- Collections are within agreed terms
- Clear “account coverage math” is in place (who takes how many kg per week)Requirements
- Proven field sales in food/agri distribution OR strong buyer network in Nairobi food trade
- Comfortable with early-morning buyer coordination and market realities
