ROLE DESCRIPTION
- Support implementation of the company’s commercial strategy within the assigned territory in alignment with the overall business plan.
- Prepare monthly sales plans identifying key prospective clients for each product line for monitoring and review with the line manager.
- Plan and execute structured customer visits to promote the company’s product portfolio and introduce the new project offering to potential clients.
- Facilitate onboarding of new clients and provide continuous support throughout the process to ensure customer satisfaction and long‑term partnerships.
- Manage and develop strong relationships with the existing customer base within the assigned markets to support revenue growth and customer retention.
- Support the development of regional and export markets within the company’s business portfolio.
- Monitor and report market trends, competitor activities, products, pricing and developments, andprovide relevant insights to guide management decision‑making.
- Prepare and submit accurate and timely weekly, monthly and quarterly sales activity reports to facilitate effective planning and management review.
- Participate and represent the company at trade exhibitions, industry events and promotions to attract new customers, promote the brand and enhance customer awareness of the company’s product range.
- Implement a collection plan to ensure timely payment by customers and support healthy cash flow levels, ensuring the territory accounts receivable remains well managed.
- Conduct periodic product training for both existing and potential customers to enhance brand awareness and product knowledge.
ACADEMIC & PROFESSIONAL QUALIFICATION
● Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Business Management, Economics, Sales and Marketing or any relevant field
● Advanced Diploma in sales and marketing or a professional certification in sales and marketing as an added advantage
● Membership in a professional body.
RELEVANT KNOWLEDGE & EXPERIENCE
● A minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar role in manufacturing industries
● Strong analytical skills and ability to analyze economic environments and business opportunities in a systematic and detailed manner
● Knowledge of changing market forces and corporate sales.
