SFS Glass is seeking a results-driven and technically competent Field Sales Representative to drive revenue growth within the Glass & Aluminium division. The role is responsible for prospecting, client acquisition, site visits, product presentations, quotation follow-ups, and closing sales within the construction, architectural, and real estate sectors.
The ideal candidate understands project-based selling, contractor engagement cycles, and the technical specifications of glass and aluminium systems. This is a field-intensive role requiring strong relationship-building skills, structured pipeline management, and disciplined execution.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Business Development
1. Identify and prospect new clients including contractors, architects, developers, fabricators, and property managers.
2. Conduct field visits to construction sites and project offices.
3. Generate and follow up on quotations in coordination with the technical and estimation teams.
4. Close sales and meet or exceed monthly revenue targets.
5. Build and maintain long-term client relationships.
Market Intelligence
1. Monitor competitor pricing, market trends, and new construction activity.
2. Provide structured feedback on client preferences and emerging demand.
Technical Engagement
1. Present glass and aluminium solutions aligned with client specifications.
2. Understand product applications including:
o Architectural glass systems
o Aluminium frames and partitions
o Curtain walls and glazing systems
3. Liaise with internal technical teams to ensure accurate specifications and delivery timelines.
Reporting & CRM Discipline
1. Maintain a structured sales pipeline.
2. Submit weekly field activity reports.
3. Track leads, quotations, and conversions through CRM or reporting tools.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
1. Monthly sales revenue
2. Lead-to-conversion ratio
3. Number of new accounts opened
4. Client retention and repeat orders
5. Pipeline growth and reporting consistency
Qualifications & Requirements
1. Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, Construction Management, or related field.
2. Minimum 2–3 years’ field sales experience (experience in construction materials, glass, aluminium, hardware, or building products preferred).
3. Proven ability to close B2B sales.
4. Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
5. Ability to read architectural drawings (added advantage).
6. Valid driver’s license (preferred).
