DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales
& Market Coverage
- Promote
and sell hygiene and sanitary products within assigned routes
- Achieve
daily, weekly, and monthly sales targets
- Identify
new customers and grow existing accounts within the territory
- Ensure consistent product availability across retail outlets
Field
Sales Execution
- Conduct
regular visits to retail shops, wholesalers, and distributors
- Take
and process customer orders accurately and in a timely manner
- Deliver
excellent customer service during field interactions
- Ensure proper execution of sales plans within assigned areas
Merchandising
& Product Visibility
- Ensure
products are well displayed and visible in all outlets
- Implement
merchandising standards including shelf placement and branding
- Check
and report on stock levels in retail outlets
- Support promotional activities and in-store campaigns
Customer
Relationship Management
- Build
and maintain strong relationships with customers in assigned
territory
- Address
customer queries and resolve basic complaints promptly
- Maintain regular communication with clients to ensure retention
Reporting
& Administration
- Submit
daily and weekly sales reports as required
- Maintain
accurate records of orders, deliveries, and customer feedback
- Report
market trends, competitor activity, and customer needs to
supervisors
Stock
& Credit Control Support
- Monitor
stock movement to avoid shortages or overstocks
- Assist
in ensuring timely payment collection where applicable
- Report any credit risks or delayed payments to management
KEY
REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
- Diploma
or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Business Administration, or
related field
- Minimum
2 years’ experience in FMCG sales, preferably hygiene/sanitary
products
- Strong
field sales experience with proven ability to meet targets
- Ability
to work independently with minimal supervision
- Good
communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
- Familiarity with GT (General Trade) routes is an added advantage
