Senga is building Africa's largest network of transporters. We find the right transport for your goods, where and when you want them. We work with selected, trusted transporters to ensure that your goods are shipped with care and arrive safely. We move goods of all sizes up to 28 tonnes and provide trucks of all sizes. We offer predictable pricing to make it easy for you. We’ve done the homework so that you don’t have to.
Now serving 48+ towns in Kenya. We also ship from Kenya to Uganda, Ethiopia, and Tanzania.

JOB SUMMARY

What we are looking for4+ years in sales or business development, with experience selling to mid-market or enterprise clientsBachelor’s degree or equivalentProven track record of consistently exceeding sales targetsExperience in logistics, retail, supply chain, software, or services preferredExperience building or leading a sales team in a startup or growth-stage companyExperience in creating a repeatable and scalable sales processExceptional communication and relationship-building skillsStrong problem-solving skillsAnalytical mindset with experience using sales metrics to inform strategyComfortable operating with ambiguity and wearing multiple hatsHigh integrity, ownership mentality, and a “get-it-done” attitudeIf you have less than 4 years of experience in sales or business development but still meet the other qualifications, please apply.This role reports to the Sales Manager and CEO.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Grow Senga’s sales efforts across multiple customer segments (SME, Enterprise)Manage the end-to-end sales process from outreach, lead qualification, and pitching, to closing dealsBuild and maintain strong, trust-based relationships with customers through consistent follow-up and clear communicationWork closely with Sales Managers and cross-functional teams to ensure smooth onboarding and service deliveryMaintain accurate sales records and regularly update CRM tools to track pipeline and performanceDrive customer satisfaction through strong relationships, clear communication, and thoughtful follow-throughMeet and exceed individual sales targets and performance metricsContribute to the voice of the customer internally ensuring customer needs inform product and service delivery
