DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Sales Team Supervision
  • Supervise and support a team of field sales representatives across assigned territories.
  • Monitor daily sales activities, routes, and performance of the sales team.
  • Provide coaching, guidance, and motivation to ensure targets are achieved.

Sales Performance and Target Achievement
  • Ensure the team consistently meets or exceeds assigned sales targets.
  • Track daily, weekly, and monthly sales performance and report progress.
  • Implement strategies to increase product sales and market share.

Market Development and Route to Market Execution
  • Expand market penetration and distribution coverage within Nairobi.
  • Identify and onboard new retail outlets, wholesalers, and distributors.
  • Ensure proper product visibility and availability across all outlets.

Customer and Distributor Relationship Management
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key customers and distributors.
  • Address customer concerns and market feedback promptly.
  • Support partners with product knowledge and promotional activities.

Market Intelligence and Reporting
  • Monitor competitor activities, pricing, and market trends.
  • Provide regular sales and market reports to management.
  • Recommend strategies to improve product positioning and sales performance.

KEY REQUIREMENT SKILLS AND QUALIFICATION
  • Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or related field.
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience  as a Sales Supervisor in FMCG, preferably in diapers, sanitary products, or similar consumer goods.
  • Proven experience managing and leading field sales teams.
  • Strong leadership and team management skills.
  • Excellent sales, negotiation, and relationship management skills.
  • Good analytical and reporting abilities.
  • Strong understanding of route-to-market strategies and distribution channels.
