- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve monthly and quarterly targets.
- Monitor daily sales performance and ensure team productivity.
- Drive revenue growth and ensure consistent achievement of KPIs.
- Ensure availability and visibility of products in assigned territories.
- Supervise, coach, and mentor Field Sales Representatives.
- Conduct regular field visits and joint calls with sales reps.
- Set individual sales targets and monitor performance.
- Provide performance feedback and conduct appraisals.
- Recruit, onboard, and train new sales staff where necessary.
- Ensure proper territory coverage and route planning.
- Optimize distribution channels including wholesalers, retailers, and sub-distributors.
- Monitor stock levels and coordinate replenishment.
- Ensure adherence to pricing and trade terms.
- Identify new business opportunities and onboard new outlets.
- Strengthen relationships with key accounts and distributors.
- Monitor competitor activities and provide market intelligence.
- Execute trade promotions and visibility campaigns.
- Prepare and submit weekly and monthly sales reports.
- Track sales metrics and analyze trends.
- Manage team attendance and route compliance.
- Ensure proper documentation of orders and collections.
- Degree or Diploma in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, or related field.
- Minimum 5+ years’ experience as a Sales Supervisor in FMCG (preferably diapers, sanitary pads, personal care, or similar fast-moving products).
- Proven experience managing field sales teams.
- Strong understanding of Nairobi FMCG distribution networks.
- Experience in route planning and territory management.
