African Alliance is seeking a seasoned, values-driven consultant to lead a high-impact demand creation initiative aimed at advancing HIV/STI/SRHR prevention through the promotion of the Female (Inner) Condom (FC2) across Kenya. You will help us to drive the demand where it matters.
- Minimum Qualification : Bachelors
- Experience Level : Senior level
- Experience Length : 7 years
Job Description/Requirements
- The ideal candidate has a minimum of 7 years of experience in SRHR/HIV advocacy, public health or community mobilisation.
- You will have a proven record of creating demand for creating demand for reproductive health commodities.
- You will have active relationships with management levels within the Ministry of Health, NASCOP, UNFPA, Global Fund CCM and other relevant stakeholders.
- You are passionate about and abreast of reproductive health commodity procurement and programming in the country.
- It are a confident communicator.
KEY OUTPUTS FOR THE CONSULTANCY
You will work to expand and maintain the basket of HIV prevention options in Kenya by measurably driving demand for the Female (inner) condom.
This will be achieved through:
- A measurable increase in demand for the Female (Inner) condom.
- Stakeholder Engagement by strengthening alliances with key parties such as government agencies, CSO's and youth & women-led networks.
- Representation of the African Alliance as a thought leader in national dialogue, coalitions and other working groups
- Reporting & Learning by providing high-quality, insights driven reports to amplify visibility of this work.
