About the Role
We are recruiting on behalf of a leading technology solutions provider serving clients across East Africa and Sub-Sahara Africa. Our client is seeking an accomplished and highly connected Senior Business Development Executive with a        proven track record in selling ICT Infrastructure, ELV Systems, Security Solutions, Networking Technologies, and

Enterprise Technology Solutions.


The successful candidate must have extensive experience identifying, pursuing, and closing high-value B2B

opportunities involving ICT infrastructure projects, enterprise networking solutions, CCTV systems, Fire Detection

Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Access Control Solutions, Structured Cabling, Data Centre Infrastructure, and

related technologies.


Candidates currently working with ICT integrators, networking companies, security technology firms, telecommunications providers, ELV contractors, or enterprise technology solution providers are strongly encouraged to apply.


Key Responsibilities

  • Identify and secure new business opportunities within corporate, government, NGO,
    education, financial services, healthcare, manufacturing, and commercial sectors.
  • Develop and manage a robust pipeline of ICT and ELV projects.
  • Build relationships with C-level executives, procurement teams, ICT managers, facility
    managers, and decision-makers.
  • Achieve and exceed assigned revenue and profitability targets.
  • Promote and sell: CCTV Surveillance Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Intrusion Detection
    Systems, Access Control Systems, Networking Infrastructure, Structured Cabling
    Solutions, Wireless Networking Solutions, Data Centre Infrastructure, ICT Hardware & Enterprise Solutions or Integrated Security Technologies.
  • Prepare technical and commercial proposals.
  • Participate in tender submissions and presentations.
  • Coordinate with technical teams during solution design and bid preparation.
  • Negotiate contracts and close high-value transactions.
  • Develop long-term client relationships.
  • Identify upselling and cross-selling opportunities.
  • Maintain high customer satisfaction and retention levels.


Mandatory Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Business, Marketing, Information Technology,
    Telecommunications, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Minimum 5 years experience selling ICT Infrastructure, ELV Systems, Enterprise
    Technology Solutions, Networking Equipment, Security Systems, or related solutions.
  • Demonstrated success selling products or solutions such as: CCTV Systems, Fire Alarm
    Systems, Access Control Systems, Intrusion Detection Systems, Networking Equipment,
    Structured Cabling, Data Centre Solutions or Enterprise ICT Infrastructure.
  • Proven experience managing high-value B2B sales opportunities.
  • Experience selling to corporate organizations, government institutions, NGOs,
    universities, hospitals, banks, or large commercial organizations.
  • Strong proposal writing, presentation, and negotiation skills.
  • Existing network of decision-makers within target markets will be a significant
    advantage.
  • Willingness to travel within Kenya and the East African region when required.
  • The ideal candidate is likely to be: Currently working in ICT Infrastructure Sales, Currently working in ELV Solutions Sales, Working for a System Integrator, Working for a Networking Solutions Provider, Working for a Security Technology Company or Working for a Telecommunications Solutions Company and looking for a senior growth opportunity with regional exposure.
