Job Overview
We are seeking a versatile and technically skilled Business Systems Technology Specialist to serve as the global owner for two critical platforms: NetSuite (ERP) and Shotgrid (Production Management).
This is a unique “bridge” role for a professional who understands core business systems (Finance, HR, Sales) and has the technical aptitude to support and integrate production workflows. You will act as the Subject Matter Expert (SME), ensuring both systems are aligned, automated, and optimized to support business and production operations globally.
While strong expertise in NetSuite is required, experience with Shotgrid is not mandatory. A structured handover and training will be provided for candidates with a strong systems mindset.
Key Responsibilities

- Act as the bridge between Finance, Project Management, and IT to optimize ERP processes (project reporting, quoting automation, departmental workflows)
- Develop and troubleshoot saved searches, financial reports, and executive dashboards
- Align stakeholders to ensure continuous ERP improvement based on business needs
- Manage system health, release previews, and feature rollouts
- Provide user support, troubleshoot issues, and maintain training documentation
- Production System (Shotgrid) Management & Support
- Partner with department heads to optimize workflows and reduce manual processes
- Lead rollout of advanced features (pipeline integrations, client portals, automated task generation)
- Serve as the main support contact for users and system issues
- Ensure data integrity across systems in collaboration with BI and software teams
- Strategic Systems Integration
- Maintain synchronization between ERP and production systems (project status, resource utilization, financial data)
- Define, test, and support new automation initiatives with internal teams and external partners
Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience as a NetSuite Administrator or Analyst (required)
- Strong systems-thinking mindset with the ability to understand complex workflows and data relationships
- Solid understanding of business processes (Finance, Accounting, Project Management)
- Experience working with ERP and project/workflow management systems
- Strong communication skills with the ability to translate technical concepts to non-technical users
- Basic experience with Python scripting, APIs, or system integrations
- Proactive problem-solving approach with strong ownership mindset
Nice To Have (or Learnable)
- Experience in a creative or production environment (e.g., VFX, Animation, Architecture)
- Exposure to production tracking tools (e.g., Shotgrid, Jira, Trello)
- Experience with HRIS or payroll system implementations
