Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Sales Executive – Cabinetry Section with over 5 years’ experience in sales, preferably within cabinetry, furniture, interior finishes, or joinery solutions in the Kenyan market. The role involves driving sales of customized cabinetry solutions including kitchen cabinets, wardrobes, office storage units, and bespoke joinery projects for residential, commercial, and hospitality clients. The ideal candidate will have strong industry networks, solid negotiation skills, and a good understanding of the local construction and interiors market.

Job Description/Requirements

Key Responsibilities

· Drive sales of cabinetry and joinery solutions to homeowners, developers, interior designers, architects, contractors, and corporate clients across Kenya.

· Actively generate leads through site visits, referrals, showroom walk-ins, industry networks, and partnerships.

· Conduct detailed client consultations to understand space planning, design requirements, material selections, timelines, and budgets.

· Prepare and present competitive quotations, samples, and design proposals aligned with client needs and project scope.

· Advise clients on locally available and imported cabinetry materials, finishes, hardware, and accessories.

· Follow up on leads, negotiate pricing, and close deals to meet and exceed monthly and annual sales targets.

· Liaise closely with design, production, and installation teams to ensure accurate interpretation and execution of client specifications.

· Conduct site visits for measurements, project verification, and client engagement throughout the installation process.

· Build and maintain strong relationships with key accounts to encourage repeat business and referrals.

· Maintain accurate sales records, pipelines, and project updates using company systems and reports.

· Participate in showroom management, product displays, promotions, exhibitions, and industry events.

· Support management with market feedback, competitor insights, and pricing intelligence.

Qualifications & Skills

· Diploma or Degree in Sales & Marketing, Interior Design, Construction Management, Building Technology, or a related field.

· Minimum of 5 - 8 years’ proven sales experience in cabinetry, furniture, interior finishes, joinery, or construction-related products within Kenya.

· Strong understanding of the Kenyan construction, real estate, and interior finishes market.

· Demonstrated ability to close medium to high-value projects and manage long sales cycles.

· Excellent communication, negotiation, and client relationship management skills.

· Ability to interpret drawings, take site measurements, and understand basic design layouts is a strong advantage.

· Proficient in MS Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, SketchUp, or similar design software is an added advantage.

· Self-driven, professional, and target-oriented with minimal supervision.

· Willingness to travel for site visits and client meetings within Nairobi and other regions as required.
