Job summary
Our client is currently looking for a Service Advisor to join their team.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Diploma or degree in Automotive Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field
- Proven experience as a Service Advisor or in a similar role within the automotive industry
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to explain technical issues in simple terms to clients
- Good organizational and multitasking abilities
- Proficiency in computer applications and automotive management systems
- Greet customers and understand their vehicle service needs
- Provide accurate information on service requirements, costs, and timelines
- Liaise between customers and the workshop team to ensure smooth service delivery
- Prepare job cards and maintain proper service records
- Upsell additional services and products where appropriate
- Ensure customer satisfaction and handle complaints professionally
- Monitor progress of vehicle repairs and keep clients updated
- Must be male (as per client’s request)
- Strong technical knowledge of vehicles and automotive systems
- Excellent interpersonal and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines
- Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented
