The Purpose of the Job
The SIM Card Embedding Officer is the technical backbone of our smart card manufacturing process. This role is responsible for operating and meticulously monitoring advanced SIM embedding equipment to ensure the accurate, secure, and highly efficient production of SIM cards. You will translate raw plastic and microchips into fully functional, personalized modules that strictly adhere to customer specifications, rigorous quality standards, and critical information security requirements. By maintaining flawless equipment operation, you directly contribute to operational excellence and ensure that millions of subscribers receive reliable connectivity.

A Brief Description of the Person Specs
Our client is looking for a technically adept, mechanically inclined, and security-conscious professional who thrives in a high-precision manufacturing environment. You possess a deep respect for sensitive electronic components and understand that even a micron of misalignment can render a SIM card useless. You are proactive, observant, and take ownership of your machinery, treating equipment integrity as paramount. Your work ethic is defined by meticulous attention to detail, strict adherence to security protocols, and a relentless drive to minimize waste and maximize efficiency.

Tasks, Duties & Responsibilities
  • Operate advanced SIM embedding machines strictly in accordance with approved operating procedures and work instructions, ensuring seamless production flow.
  • Precisely set up equipment and verify critical production parameters (temperature, pressure, alignment, and speed) before the commencement of each production run.
  • Proactively monitor machine performance and production output in real-time to ensure optimal efficiency, accuracy, and minimal downtime.
  • Conduct regular, systematic quality inspections throughout the production process, verifying chip placement, encapsulation integrity, and physical appearance.
  • Promptly identify, document, and report any equipment faults, production anomalies, or material discrepancies to the maintenance and supervisory teams.
  • Maintain accurate, detailed, and legible production logs and operational records, ensuring full traceability of batches and machine performance metrics.
  • Uphold strict compliance with all information security and confidentiality requirements, safeguarding sensitive customer data and production keys at all times.
  • Rigorously adhere to established health, safety, and environmental (HSE) procedures, maintaining a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace.
  • Actively minimize production waste through careful handling of raw materials (chips, tapes, plastic sheets) and precise machine calibration.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities and routine equipment housekeeping, ensuring machinery remains in peak operating condition.
  • Escalate quality deviations or security incidents immediately to the appropriate supervisor to prevent the release of non-conforming or compromised products.
  • Actively contribute to continuous process improvement initiatives and operational efficiency programmes, suggesting practical enhancements to reduce cycle times and improve yield.
