Role Description
This is a part-time Volunteer hybrid role for a Social Media Content Creator, based in Karen Ward, with flexibility for some work-from-home. The Social Media Content Creator will be responsible for designing, creating, and publishing engaging social media content that amplifies the organization's mission and programs. Day-to-day tasks include managing social media accounts, crafting targeted campaigns, producing visual and written content, analyzing social media performance, and staying updated on trends to maximize reach and engagement. The role involves close collaboration with program teams to align messaging with ongoing initiatives and organizational goals.
Qualifications
- Experience in Social Media Management, including scheduling, posting, and monitoring content.
- Proficiency in Content Creation skills such as copywriting, graphic design, and video editing.
- Knowledge of Analytics Tools to track performance and optimize content strategies.
- Strong Research and Trend Analysis skills to inform content planning and execution.
- Excellent Communication and Collaboration skills to work effectively with diverse teams and stakeholders.
- Passion for mental health advocacy and community-centered initiatives.
- Bachelor’s degree in Communications, Marketing, Media Studies, or a related field is preferred.
- Experience in non-profit or community-focused organizations is an advantage.
- Familiarity with trauma-informed and culturally sensitive communication is a plus.
