Spa & Wellness Therapist

Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Spa Therapist to join our luxury hospitality team in Amboseli. The ideal candidate will deliver exceptional spa and wellness services, ensuring guests enjoy a relaxing, personalized, and memorable experience. This role requires strong technical expertise in beauty and massage therapies, excellent guest service skills, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of hygiene and professionalism.

Key ResponsibilitiesGuest Service & Experience

• Welcome guests warmly and conduct professional consultations.
• Assess guest needs and recommend suitable treatments and spa packages.
• Deliver personalized spa experiences that exceed guest expectations.
• Maintain guest confidentiality, comfort, and well-being at all times.
• Handle guest inquiries, concerns, and feedback in a professional manner.
• Promote spa packages and wellness offerings.
• Upsell treatments and services where appropriate to maximize revenue.

Therapy & Treatment Delivery

• Perform a variety of spa treatments including body scrubs, massages, facials, and manicure/pedicure services.
• Provide holistic therapies such as Thai massage and other wellness treatments where applicable.
• Ensure treatments are delivered safely, effectively, and in line with spa standards.

Operational Duties

• Prepare treatment rooms before and after each session to maintain readiness.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and sanitation in all spa areas.
• Support other hotel team members during peak periods to ensure smooth operations.

Skills & Qualifications

• Diploma or certification in Massage Therapy, Beauty Therapy, or Spa Therapy from a recognized institution.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hotel or luxury spa environment (preferred).
• Proficiency in a wide range of massage and body treatments.
• Knowledge of holistic and therapeutic practices (e.g., Thai massage).
• Strong customer service orientation with a guest-first mindset.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Professional, well-groomed, and service-driven attitude.
