BasiGo is an early stage e-mobility start-up looking to revolutionise the public transportation sector by providing matatu owners with a cost effective electric alternative to diesel. We’re looking for a Finance & Administration Manager to join our team. The Finance & Administration Manager will report directly to the Chief Financial Officer, supporting them in building and managing finance, admin, & HR functions to support the BasiGo team as it scales. JOB SUMMARY
The Supply Chain Intern will support demand planning by analyzing parts usage data, optimizing stock re-order thresholds, and monitoring inventory levels to ensure operational continuity. This position requires strong data analysis and management skills, along with a proactive, curious, and growth-oriented mindset. This role reports directly to the Head of Global Supply Chain and Procurement and offers significant growth opportunities as BasiGo continues to scale.RequirementsRequired Experience & QualificationsBachelor’s degree in Engineering, Data Analytics, Business Management or related discipline.Experience in the automotive industry is an added advantage.Experience using Odoo CRM is an added advantageSkills & AttitudeData Analysis and ManagementCurious and growth-orientedProactiveMature, respectful, empathetic, with a high degree of integrity and respect of confidentiality.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Demand Planning: Analyze parts usage data and on-the-ground feedback from operational teams to continually optimize stock re-order threshold levels. Monitor on-hand stock data against stock re-order thresholds.Updating OEM part numbers in the company’s platformsOrdering & MonitoringDraft Purchase Orders in company’s CRM for standard replenishment and ad-hoc procurement.Monitor items ordered and flag delays in sourcingDraft feedback reports for suppliers on outstanding items and account creditsResearching New Suppliers and ProductsSupport in visiting new potential vendors and researching new potential brands for parts.Supporting HoD and team on assorted daily tasks, as needed
