Our client, an Africa-centred organization focused on re-engineering access to green energy through an affordable, sustainable, and customer-driven electricity network, is seeking to engage a motivated and customer-oriented Swap Station Attendant. The attendant will support clients at battery swap stations, ensuring smooth daily operations.
Job descriptions & requirements
- Act as the first point of contact for riders at the swap stations and assist with battery swap procedures, safety guidelines, and basic troubleshooting.
- Receive and log customer challenges or feedback and escalate when required.
- Maintain professional conduct in line with the company's customer service standards.
- Record daily operational data, including downtime or faults, rider challenges, and feedback.
- Submit daily or shift reports using applicable tools
- Provide feedback to Customer Support, Product, and Engineering teams to support service and product improvements.
- Ensure the swap station is clean, organized, and operational at all times.
- Conduct basic checks on the station including batteries, cabinets and utility services. Immediately report faults, damage, or unsafe conditions.
- Support other station-related tasks as instructed by line managers.
- Ensure riders follow basic safety rules at the station.
Report accidents, near-misses, or hazards immediately.
Participate in safety training and toolbox talks as required.
