Requirements:

Technical Skills Required:
Proficiency In Tax Compliance Systems Including Itax And E-Filing Platforms.
Advanced Microsoft Excel Skills For Tax Computations And Analysis.
Understanding Of Ifrs Tax Accounting Standards (Ias 12).
Comprehensive Knowledge Of Kenyan Tax Laws And Compliance Requirements.
Strong Understanding Of Corporate Income Tax, Vat, Withholding Tax, Paye, And Transfer Pricing.
Understanding Of Insurance Industry Tax Considerations.
Experience:
At Least 3 Years Of Experience In Tax Compliance, Tax Advisory, Or Tax Accounting. Strong Knowledge Of Kenyan Tax Laws And Regulations.
Experience In Insurance Or Financial Services Sector Is An Advantage.
Experience With Tax Compliance Software And Digital Tax Platforms.
Salary: Kshs. 170,000 - 190,000 Plus Generous Company Benefits
Duties:
Tax Analyst Will Play A Critical Role In Managing Tax Compliance In The Company.
This Position Ensures Accurate Tax Filings, Supports Tax Operations, And Collaborates With Finance, Legal, And Operational Teams To Meet Regulatory Obligations And Optimize Tax Processes Within The Insurance Brokerage Environment By Performing The Following Responsibilities: Tax Compliance Management: Oversee Tax Compliance For All Group Entities In Kenya, Prepare And File Tax Returns Including Corporate Income Tax, Vat, Withholding Tax, Paye, Housing Levy, And Excise Duty Through The Itax Platform.
Tax Advisory & Planning: Provide Tax Guidance To Business Units On Transaction Implications, Conduct Tax Planning To Identify Optimization Opportunities, And Develop Tax-Efficient Strategies Within Legal Frameworks.
Tax Audits & Dispute Resolution: Coordinate Responses To Tax Audits And Assessments, Prepare Required Documentation, Liaise With Kenya Revenue Authority (Kra), And Manage Objections And Appeals Processes.
Financial Reporting & Provisions: Calculate Tax Provisions For Financial Statements In Accordance With Ifrs (Ias 12), Prepare Tax Reconciliations, And Support External Audit Processes.
Regulatory Monitoring & Transfer Pricing: Monitor Tax Legislation Changes, Assess Impact On Group Operations, Ensure Transfer Pricing Compliance, And Maintain Required Documentation. Stakeholder Coordination & Reporting: Coordinate With External Tax Advisors, Prepare Tax Reports And Analytics For Management, And Support Insurance-Specific Tax Matters And Regulatory Reporting.
