Job summary
We are looking for a proactive Team Leader to oversee field operations, guide a high-performing sales/credit team, and ensure achievement of monthly portfolio and disbursement targets. The ideal candidate is hands-on, disciplined, and strong in both leadership and credit discipline.

Key Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise a team of Credit/Field Officers
- Drive monthly disbursement target of KES 10M+ per branch/team
- Ensure strong pipeline generation across all loan products
- Oversee credit appraisal, vetting, and approval quality
- Manage portfolio performance and maintain low PAR levels
- Conduct field coaching, client visits, and deal closing support
- Track daily sales activity, conversions, and collections
- Enforce discipline, targets, and accountability within the team
- Prepare accurate daily/weekly performance reports
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or related field
- 5- 7 years’ experience in microfinance, credit, or field sales
- Proven experience leading a sales or credit team
- Strong understanding of lending products and risk analysis
- Aggressive target mindset with proven performance history
- Strong leadership, discipline, and accountability skills
- Experience in logbook or asset financing is a strong advantage
- Minimum 28 years preferred due to the seniority and performance expectations of the role.
