Technical Sales

•        Identify new and existing projects, industries, electrical contractors & solar installers. Develop these clients and add them to the client portfolio

•        frequent visits, regular calls and follow ups to existing, new and potential clients about their cable requirements

•        Secure orders from clients to meet and exceed sales targets as agreed with immediate supervisor

•        Correctly record & submit orders in a timely manner; confirm receipt of deliveries to customers

•        Visit/participate in sales and marketing events (shows, exhibitions and fairs)

•        Ensure that the brand of the company is highly regarded through branding initiatives that are available and develop new branding initiatives

•        Ensure availability of product at all distributors, monitor sales of distributors on a regular basis and report accordingly.

•        Collect payment from clients and account for all sales proceeds accordingly.

•        Prepare and maintain a record on sales activities and other related market activities including those on competition and advice management accordingly.

•        Prepare and submit sales reports as required.

•        Study market trends and carry out market intelligence to establish competition and presence of counterfeit or fake products.

•        Ensure to demonstrate advanced product knowledge, including technical knowledge, at all times and build customer confidence.

Education/experience

•        A Certificate/Diploma/Degree/Background in Electrical related field could be beneficial

•        Sales/Marketing related experience and education is beneficial

•        At least three (3) years sales experience preferred in technical sales for wire and cable industry

•        Prior experience in an electrical engineering environment would be added advantage.
