ABOUT THE COMPANY
Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.
JOB SUMMARY
Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-Must hold a Diploma in Automotive Engineering.Welding and Fabrication skills will be an added advantage.Previous experience of at least 2 years in a TVET (Technical and Vocational Education and Training) institution will be an added advantage.Certificate of Good Conduct from the Kenya Police Service; andDemonstrated merit and shown ability as reflected in work performance and results
