ABOUT THE COMPANY
Kaimosi Friends National Polytechnic is located in Vihiga County, within the Western Region of Kenya, at the heart of the Kaimosi Mission Complex. The institution sits on a 60-acre piece of land along the Kisumu–Chavakali–Kapsabet–Eldoret road.
Established in 1971 by the East African Yearly Meeting of Friends Church (Quakers), in collaboration with the local community and partners from the USA and UK, the institution was originally known as Friends College Kaimosi (FCK). It was founded to promote vocational education with a strong emphasis on Practical Agriculture, Rural Leadership, Small Business Management, and Entrepreneurship Training.
JOB SUMMARY
Requirements for AppointmentFor appointment to this grade, a candidate must have:-Diploma in Building and Construction/Civil Engineering/Interior Design with Craft or Artisan Certificate in Carpentry and Joinery, Furniture Technology, Interior Design, Wood Technology, or equivalent OR valid Trade Test Grade I, II, or III in Carpentry and JoineryAt least 3 years relevant experienceComputer literacy
