- Inspect, diagnose, and repair faulty electronic units and components
- Identify faults at component level, including charging circuits, ports, and PCBs
- Use diagnostic tools and equipment to troubleshoot issues accurately
- Replace or repair defective parts to restore full functionality
- Perform routine maintenance, testing, and preventive servicing of devices
- Ensure all repaired units meet quality and performance standards before release
- Conduct functional testing after repairs
- Carry out soldering and desoldering of electronic components
- Perform basic PCB repairs, including track repairs and component replacement
- Handle sensitive components with precision and care
- Properly use and maintain repair tools and diagnostic equipment
- Ensure tools are handled safely and stored appropriately
- Maintain records of repairs, parts used, and work completed
- Report recurring faults or technical issues to management
- Track inventory usage and recommend replenishment of spare parts
- Follow safety procedures and technical standards at all times
- Ensure proper handling of electronic components to avoid damage (e.g., ESD precautions)
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment
- Certification or training in electronics is an added advantage
- Proven experience in electronics repair or a similar technical role
- Hands-on experience with soldering and PCB repair
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Proficiency in using repair tools and diagnostic equipment
- Attention to detail and precision in technical work
- Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
- Good problem-solving skills and a proactive approach
