JOB SUMMARY

Qualifications and experiencea) Diploma or equivalent from a recognized institution in Pharmacognosy, Phytochemistry,Ethnobotany, Plant Taxonomy, Biotechnology, or Applied Biology.b) Demonstrated Understanding of Good Laboratory Practice (GLP) and quality controlprinciplesc) Demonstrated experience with the extraction, identification, and basic analysis ofphytochemicalsd) Computer literacy

RESPONSIBILITIES

a. Prepare and standardize botanical specimens for teaching and researchb. Execute phytochemical extraction procedures and preliminary phytochemical screeningc. Operate, calibrate, and perform routine maintenance of laboratory instruments andequipmentd. Assist in organizing and conducting practical sessionse. Manage laboratory inventoryf. Ensure compliance with Good Laboratory Practiceg. Support faculty in conducting research
