About the Company
We are a fast-growing Kenyan startup providing vehicle tracking and security solutions for individuals, businesses, and fleet operators. Our offerings include GPS tracking, remote immobilization, anti-theft devices, and fleet management systems.
Key Responsibilities
1. Installation & Maintenance Oversight
- Execute GPS tracking device and security system installations as assigned by the lead technician.
- Ensure all installations meet company quality standards and comply with manufacturer guidelines.
- Manage large-scale fleet installation projects and coordinate deployment.
2. Troubleshooting & Technical Support
- Provide advanced troubleshooting support for hardware and connectivity issues.
- Resolve escalated technical challenges from clients in the field.
- Liaise with the lead technician for system integrations and updates.
3. Continuous Improvement & Innovation
- Stay up to date with emerging trends in vehicle security technology.
- Recommend new products, tools, and processes to improve efficiency.
Qualifications & Skills
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering, Automotive Technology, or related field.
- 5+ years hands-on experience in vehicle electronics installations (GPS tracking, alarms, immobilizers, CCTV).
- Proven experience leading and supervising a team of technicians.
- Strong problem-solving and diagnostic abilities.
- Familiarity with GPS tracking software and fleet management systems.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Valid driving license (preferred).
