TECHNICIAN/RIGGER

•  Install and maintain telecom infrastructure, including towers, antennas, and cables while ensuring compliance with safety regulations and procedures while working at height
•  Assist in the surveys, installation, support and decommissioning of fixed data services using various technologies – Wimax, Fiber, Microwave and Wi-Fi
•  Fiber installations, splicing and troubleshooting
•  Collaborate with other team members, including engineers and project managers, to complete projects on time and within budget
•  Troubleshoot and repair telecom equipment and infrastructure as needed
•  Compilation of installation reports while ensuring accurate records of work completed and materials used
•  Completion of installations to customer satisfaction and obtaining customer sign off
•  Any other responsibilities as will be assigned.

Required Qualifications, Experience and Skills

•  Diploma in Telecommunications Engineering & Electrical Engineering
•  Working experience of at least 2 years in installation, maintenance and repair of telecommunication equipment and infrastructure
•  Training and certification in Working at Height
•  Knowledge of safety procedures and regulations with experience in the use of various equipment and tools, such as hoists and rigging equipment
•  Excellent customer management and communication skills
•  Experience in driving both Manual & Automatic vehicles. Should have a valid Driving License; and Defensive driving certification is highly desirable.
•  Ability to work under pressure
•  Physically fit and able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions in alignment with safety procedures.
•  Ready to work in any region within Kenya.
