Purpose
As a Telesales Representative, you will be responsible for generating sales leads, prospecting potential clients, and converting opportunities into successful sales through phone-based interactions. You will play a vital role in promoting our products, addressing customer inquiries, and building long-lasting relationships with clients.

Key Duties/ Responsibilities
1. Sales Prospecting and Lead Generation:
•  Conduct outbound calls to prospect and qualify potential customers interested in our products.
•  Identify and prioritize sales leads based on predefined criteria and target market segments.
•  Respond to inbound calls, messages and emails generated by our digital marketing activities.
•  Utilize effective sales techniques to capture the interest of prospects and schedule appointments for further discussions.
•  Follow ups on quotations generated by the Retail and Wholesale Departments.
2. Product Promotion and Sales Pitch:
•  Conduct discovery with all leads to qualify those leads and understand their needs.
•  Present needs based product features, benefits, and value propositions persuasively to prospects.
•  Customize sales pitches and solutions to address the specific needs and requirements of each customer.
•  Overcome objections, handle rejections, and effectively negotiate terms to close sales and secure orders.
3. Customer Relationship Management:
•  Build and maintain strong relationships with customers by providing attentive, personalized service.
•  Follow up with existing and potential clients to nurture leads, address inquiries, and ensure customer satisfaction.
•  Act as a primary point of contact for clients, handling inbound calls and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
4. Sales Performance Tracking and Reporting:
•  Maintain accurate records of sales activities, including calls made and received, messages/emails responded to, appointments scheduled, meetings held or made for others, sales opportunities opened, quotes made and deals closed.
5. Continuous Learning and Development:
Stay updated on product knowledge, industry trends, and competitive offerings to enhance sales effectiveness.
•  Participate in training sessions, workshops, and sales meetings to improve skills and knowledge.
•  Proactively seek feedback and implement best practices to optimize sales performance and achieve targets.

Academic and professional Qualifications and experience required
•  High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering or in a construction related field is ideal.
•  No experience in telesales, inside sales, or customer service roles is required, preferably with some experience within the manufacturing industry.

Key Skills and Competences
•  Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to engage customers and articulate value propositions effectively.
•  Strong negotiation and persuasion abilities, with a customer-focused approach to sales.
•  Results-driven mindset with a passion for achieving targets and exceeding expectations.
•  Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other sales tools.
•  Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
