Mombasa Island Cargo Terminal (MICT) is a container freight station located in Mombasa Island.
Reporting to the Managing Director the office bearer will be expected to perform the following roles:
Duties and Responsibilities
- In charge of the Port terminal operations. Continuously motivating, supporting and harnessing the Team towards the goals and objectives of the company
- Ensuring compliance to company policies and procedures while effectively managing and controlling productivity in all shifts.
- Ensure good relations with all the CFS users/clients such as the Shipping Lines, KRA, KEBS, Port and other agencies.
- Controlling and coordinating the daily allocation of manpower and equipment, making sure requirements are sufficient to serve the activities in all areas of the Terminal.
- Routinely observing operational activities and ascertaining that established productivity / performance benchmarks are met.
Qualifications & Experience
- University Graduate
- Minimum of 3-5 years’ experience in similar position will be an added advantage.
- Computer literate and able to use Microsoft office packages.
- Team player and results oriented individual.
- Male candidates are preferred.
