As the Territory Sales Executive – Nairobi Metropolis, you will be responsible for driving revenue growth by onboarding new retail distribution points and securing corporate sales partnerships within your assigned territory.

Your role is highly field-based and target-driven. You will identify opportunities, open doors, negotiate partnerships, and ensure consistent sales performance across the Nairobi metropolitan region. Your success will be measured by new accounts opened, volume sold, and revenue generated.
Key Responsibilities
Sales & Territory Growth
● Identify, prospect, and onboard new retail points including optical shops, pharmacies, clinics, and high-footfall outlets within Nairobi Metropolis.
● Actively pursue corporate sales opportunities with companies, institutions, SACCOs, factories, schools, and organized groups.
● Build and manage a strong sales pipeline to consistently meet and exceed monthly sales targets.
● Conduct product presentations and negotiations with decision-makers and business owners.
Account Management & Relationship Building
● Develop strong, long-term relationships with retail and corporate clients to drive repeat sales and reorders.
● Ensure proper onboarding, basic product training, and activation of new retail points.
● Serve as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts within the territory.
Market Intelligence & Execution
● Conduct regular market mapping to identify new business opportunities and competitive activity.
● Collect and share customer feedback and market insights with the Sales & Customer Success teams.
● Ensure effective execution of sales campaigns, promotions, and field activations within the territory.
Reporting & Performance Management
● Maintain accurate daily and weekly sales reports, pipeline updates, and territory performance tracking.
● Track leads, conversions, closures, and reorders using provided sales tools.
● Work closely with the Customer Success team to ensure smooth post-sale support and customer satisfaction.

Requirements & Qualifications
Essential:
Experience:
● 2–4 years of proven experience in field sales, territory sales, or business development.
● Demonstrated success in onboarding new retail points or selling B2B / corporate solutions.
Education:
● Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Sales & Marketing, Commerce, or a related field.
Sales Skills:
● Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
● Ability to manage a sales territory independently and consistently meet targets.
Communication:
● Strong verbal and written communication skills in English and Swahili.
Mobility:
● Ability to move extensively within Nairobi Metropolis (CBD, Eastlands, Westlands, Industrial Area, satellite towns.
Desirable:
● Experience selling health products, FMCG, medical devices, or retail distribution products.
● Existing network within retail, pharmacy, optical, or corporate sectors.
● Experience working with CRM or basic sales reporting tools.
● Prior experience in a social enterprise or impact-driven organization.
